Laundromat FAQ
We have three self-service laundromats in South Lake Tahoe: Tahoe LaundryBox At The Y (1024 Emerald Bay Road), our 2660 Lake Tahoe Blvd location, and High Sierra Laundromat by Tahoe LaundryBox (2180 Lake Tahoe Blvd #6).
Tahoe LaundryBox At The Y is open daily from 7AM to 10PM, with last wash at 9PM. Our 2660 Lake Tahoe Blvd location is open daily from 7AM to 9PM, with last wash at 8PM.
High Sierra Laundromat is open daily from noon to 6AM, with last wash at 5AM, making it our latest-running location for late-night and overnight laundry. Please note at this location, though the store is open from 8AM to 2PM to service wash and fold customers, self-service is unavailable from 6AM to noon so that our team can process commercial orders. We thank you for your understanding and patronage.

Tahoe Laundry Box At The Y offers drop-off laundry daily from 7AM to 3PM, and High Sierra Laundromat offers wash & fold from 8AM to 2PM daily.
All locations offer self-service coin and PayRange laundry.
Tahoe LaundryBox At The Y has self-service hours daily from 7AM to 10PM with last wash at 9PM.
High Sierra Laundromat has self-service hours daily from noon to 6AM with last wash at 5AM. Self-service is unavailable from 6AM to noon so that our team can process wash and fold orders but you are welcome to drop off and pick up your own wash and fold orders from 8AM to 2PM at this location.
Our store at 2660 Lake Tahoe Blvd. is self-service only every day from 7AM to 9PM with last wash at 8PM.
Tahoe LaundryBox At The Y is attended daily from 7AM to 3PM. Outside attended hours, and at our other locations, the laundromats are self-service, though machines remain available during all posted store hours.
Our largest machines are 80 lb. Speed Queen washers, available at Tahoe LaundryBox At The Y and our 2660 Lake Tahoe Blvd location — ideal for comforters, large loads, or multiple loads at once. All three locations also offer 60 lb. and 40 lb. washers alongside standard 20 lb. and top-loading machines, plus 45 lb. and 30 lb. dryers.
All three locations use a hybrid system — you can pay with coins or the PayRange mobile app, so you're not stuck needing exact change.
Every location has folding tables, seating, laundry carts, ample parking, free Wi-Fi, and TVs. At The Y also has three TVs set to family-friendly programming, and both At The Y and High Sierra Laundromat offer snack, drink, and laundry-product vending machines.
Wash & Fold FAQ
Wash and fold — also called fluff and fold — is a drop-off laundry service. You bring in your dirty laundry and we wash, dry, and fold it for you, priced by the pound.
We wash with your choice of Tide, Gain, or our premium Kirkland detergent at no extra charge, plus Downy softener and Bounce dryer sheets on request.
Choose next-day service (ready within 24 hours) or same-day service if you drop off by noon.
At Tahoe LaundryBox At The Y (daily 7AM–3PM) or High Sierra Laundromat by Tahoe LaundryBox (daily 8AM–2PM).
We'll text you as soon as your order is washed, dried, and folded.
Pickup & Delivery FAQ
Sign up online, choose your pickup and delivery days, select your service options, and set your laundry out on your scheduled pickup day.
Regular pickup and delivery runs Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8AM to 11AM (available daily in South Lake Tahoe).
No. Just include instructions in your order notes for where our driver can find and leave your laundry.
You won't be charged until your laundry is finished and completely dry.

Pricing FAQ
In-store drop-off is $2.50/lb. for next-day service or $3.00/lb. for same-day service.
Pickup and delivery is $2.00/lb. for recurring orders or $2.50/lb. for one-time orders.
Yes — $30 for in-store drop-off.

Commercial Laundry FAQ
We wash towels, linens, uniforms, and other business laundry for spas, hospitality businesses, colleges, gyms, and healthcare facilities.
Qualifying commercial accounts can get bulk or volume pricing, flexible weekly billing cycles, and other customizations — just inquire to see if your business qualifies.
We're unable to accept restaurant laundry, items with bodily fluid stains, or excessively greasy shop towels.
